Traveling Earth As Art Exhibit
The Earth as Art exhibit features remarkable images of the surface of the Earth that have been captured by remote sensing devices aboard LANDSAT satellites operated by the U.S. Geological Survey and NASA, along with other satellites and sensors. It is presented by the UL Lafayette Regional Application Center and LouisianaView. Multiple Earth as Art images, along with those produced by students in their remote sensing projects are part of the traveling exhibit that emphasizes “STEAM” education outreach.
STEAM represents the Science, Technology, Engineering, ART and Mathematics presented for enlightening the public’s knowledge within the world of remote sensing.
